What is chainmaille?
Mail or chainmaille (chain mail) is a type of armor consisting of small metal rings linked together in a pattern to form a mesh. The technique has evolved over the years into many different forms of art including, jewelry, sculpture & clothing and can usually be found at Medieval Faires around the world.

What is chainmaille made out of?
Metal jump rings. ANY kind of metal ring that opens can be woven into chainmaille. You can even weave rubber or glass rings into chainmaille patterns but connecting open-able rings to them. I prefer to work with Anodized Aluminum, Anodized Niobium, Anodized Titanium, Bright Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Enameled Copper, Gold, Neoprene, Niobium, Gold Fill (rose, white, yellow), Fine & Sterling Silver, Stainless Steel and Titanium. All my items will be labeled with the material used.
